SR-20 Re-seal Station
The SR-20 Re-seal Station is a compact, manually operated bench top unit that allows users to repair de-laminated and poorly sealed areas on a finished reel of tape.
|
|
- Repair de-laminated spots in the tape.
- Lift the cover tape to correct mis-oriented/ missingcomponents,
and re-seal the tape.
- Utilize as a convenient inspection station, with repair capabilities.
The SR-20 sealing process is identical to that used on thousands of RVSI/Systemation taping machines, including high speed systems.
Sealing shoes widths are available to match your existing process equipment. Also, complete adjustability in seal location results allows the repaired area to be precisely matched with the original seal appearance.
 |
A reel is loaded onto the input spindle in a manner identical to a typical taping machine.
Handles move the tape forward or backward. The tape is guided through the station by precision rails that handle carrier widths from 8 mm to 120 mm.
|
Foot switch actuation/release of the sealing shoes allows any length of seal to be easily applied.
|
|

The position of the sealing shoes is fine-adjusted with micrometers located on each seal shoe assembly to
align with the existing seal line.

The sealing pressure is accurately controlled. Each sealing shoe (front and rear) has its own separate regulator and gage.
Individual temperature controllers accurately set and maintain the desired temperature of each sealing shoe.
Three-position switch allows the user to actuate the front shoe only, rear shoe only, or both shoes, depending upon where the repair is needed.
